The 47th Annual Maryland Renaissance Festival Begins August 26, 2023

******Due to the projected path of the tropical storm depression moving into the Mid-Atlantic area the Maryland Renaissance Festival will be closed for Saturday, September 23, 2023. Any tickets for this date only will be refunded in full automatically. Ticket holders do not need to contact the festival. Customers who had their tickets refunded by the deadline will receive the balance of the processing and handling fee that was not part of the refund.*****

Due to the tropical storm the Maryland Renaissance Festival will be closed for Saturday, September 23, 2023. Refunds will be automatically issued. There is no need to contact the office.

Village Rules

Please note and observe our rules of the village:

Pets are NOT allowed with the exception of trained service animals.
No beverages in through the gates (1 personal size sealed from the manufacturer bottle of water permitted per person). Food is permitted but no coolers are permitted through gates.
Smoking is allowed only in Designated Smoking Areas (DSAs). All other areas are smoke free.
No weapons (costume or real).
Patrons are welcomed to wear costumes suitable for a family-friendly atmosphere to get into the spirit of the event! All performers are paid by the King's purse and scheduled by the Artistic Director. Performers will not ask for or accept tips. Patrons are not permitted to perform. Costumed patrons may not hand out candy or trinkets or approach and/or actively engage other patrons who are not part their family or friend group. Please, no posing to encourage photo ops. Thank you.

Handicapped parking is available next to our Main Gate. When entering the parking lot, follow the signs to the designated handicapped parking area.
